The Medicines Learning Portal provides resources and expertise that will help pharmacists in tackling clinical problems that will confront them throughout their careers.

The site is aimed at foundation trainee and early careers pharmacists in hospitals; however, pharmacists in other sectors and pharmacy technicians may also find the resources helpful, depending on their role.

The Medicines Safety Portal aims to help primary care professionals to use medicines safely. It includes specific clinical sections for common medicines and includes resources to help with problem solving on subjects such as interactions, medicines shortages, and the safety of herbal medicines.

National Institute for Health and Care Excellence Clinical Knowledge Summaries (NICE CKS) provides resources on common conditions that are often seen within primary care. The resources provide an overview of the current evidence base and practical guidance on best practice.

SCRIPT

SCRIPT is an e-learning programme to improve prescribing safety and competency among healthcare professionals. The program focuses on prescribing, therapeutics and medicines management and there is a pharmacy specific program consisting of 59 modules.
